I was barely sitting down when I heard a voice from the other stall saying: “Hi, how are you?” I’m so embarrassed, but I don’t know what to do, so I answered “Doin’ just fine!”
And the other person says: “So what are you doing now?” What kind of question is that? At that point, I’m thinking this is too bizarre so I say: “Uhhh, I’m like you, just traveling!” At this point I am just trying to get out as fast as I can when I hear another question. “Can I come over?” and tell him, “No........I’m a little busy right now!!!”
Then I hear the person say nervously...“Listen, I’ll have to call you back. There’s an idiot in the other stall who keeps answering all my questions!!!”
내가 막 화장실에 앉자마자 옆 칸에서 목소리가 들려왔다. “안녕, 잘 지내지.”
나는 무척 당황스러웠지만 어떻게 해야 할 지 몰라 그냥 답했다. “잘 지내!”
그러자 옆 칸 친구가 말을 이었다. “너 지금 뭐하고 있니?”
‘이게 무슨 소리람’ 나는 뭔가 이상하다고 느끼면서 답했다. “음..너처럼..그냥..여행을 하고 있지 뭐.” 이 때 옆 친구가 “그 쪽으로 건너가도 돼?”하고 물었고, 나는 가능한 한 빨리 여기서 벗어나야 겠다고 생각하며 답했다. “안돼. 지금 아주 바쁘거든!!”
그 때 옆 칸에서 들려 오는 소리. “잠깐, 내가 다시 전화할게. 화장실에서 어떤 미친놈이 내 질문에 계속 답을 하고 있지 뭐야.”
